Hoy nos hemos enterado que el inmenso actor Robert Duvall – El Padrino (1972), El padrino II (1974), Apocalypse now (1979), Acción civil (1998), o El secreto de los McCann (2003)- coincidiendo con su 80 cumpleaños ha sido reconocido con una estrella en el paseo de Hollywood.
Sinceramente no sabía que este increíble actor tenía pendiente este reconocimiento, algo incomprensible cuando he visto dar estrellas en dicho paseo a actores que no le llegan ni a la suela de los zapatos.
El actor estuvo acompañado tanto de su familia como amigos en este más que merecido homenaje entre los que cabe destacar a Andy García, Billy Bob Thornton y James Caan.
Seguramente al actor se le habrán venido a la memoria todo tipo de imágenes desde sus inicios a mediados de los 50 hasta el día de hoy, donde ha dejado su buen hacer a lo largo de todos estos años.
Desde aquí trasladar a este grande de la pantalla nuestra más sincera felicitación y recriminar a los que deciden sobre este tipo de reconocimientos el haber esperado tanto para concedérselo.
